The Embassies of Latin American countries, Spain and Portugal, in collaboration with Itaú Unibanco are delighted to launch the first ever ‘Ibero-American Arts Award’. In an unprecedented exchange between the UK and Latin cultures, the exhibition and award invites all UK-based artists to explore the concept of Utopia in Ibero-American cultures.

The Embassy of Brazil and ACALASP, in partnership with sponsor Itaú Unibanco, and People’s Palace Projects, are delighted to announce the composition of the Jury panel for the Ibero-American Arts Award. They will judge from among the 30 shortlisted artworks to select this year’s winners.

We are delighted to announce that the 30 shortlisted artworks for the first ever Ibero-American Arts Award are now on display at Sala Brasil until 8 December. The artworks display a rich and diverse range of approaches to the theme of ‘Utopias’, many with a strong ‘Ibero-American’ twist, and cover multiple art forms including painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media.
